Use relevant keywords
For product information to be user-friendly for buyers and search engines, a website must be easy to find, read, and understand in terms of colors, measurements, sizes, prices, and more. When your viewers come from different regions, you should have standard and/or metric measurements. Images of these products must match physical items to ensure color and size accuracy.
There are sellers that only show the prices of their products when they are added to the user’s cart. Perhaps this is because they have a special promotion or are trying to take advantage of the minimum price of the advertising policy. However, even if hiding prices doesn’t directly affect SEO, shoppers tend to leave immediately when the product page doesn’t display price details. This can lead to a higher bounce rate, which will be discussed in the next section.
Design with buyers in mind
A website and product page should be designed in such a way as to provide a great shopping experience. Granting that companies offer the best products with the most reasonable products in their industry, if your website is difficult to search or navigate, buyers may get frustrated and leave.

When search engines discover that a website has an exceptionally high bounce rate, in which visitors leave as soon as they land on your web page, the site’s rankings will begin to plummet. A well-designed website can reduce bounce rates and allow visitors to navigate multiple pages even if they don’t easily find the information they need or want.
For an eCommerce website to be successful, it must be easy to find and navigate, have reasonable menus and navigation options that let visitors know what information they will see once they click on a link. Images should only be used sparingly because uploading them can take time, which can make shoppers impatient and hit the back button. In this sense, the loading time is also a ranking factor. Therefore, it is best to have web pages that load fast.
Don’t add messy or complex URLs
Visitors can access a web page in an online store through an address, which is called a URL. This includes a large amount of information compressed into a small space. According to SEO standards, URLs should be clear and easy to read, with keywords that are relevant to the resulting page text.
Search engines can get a lot of different information from a URL, like lawnmowers for sale or deals on a green and gas variety. At first glance, users should be able to see where a URL leads to. When they send the link to others, the recipient will see that the site is about lawnmowers and will click through to the products. A complicated URL like the one in the first example could confuse people, who wouldn’t know where it would lead.
