I recently realized that promoting your website in search engines can instantly double in Google! That’s right, you can instantly promote your site 2 times at once!
So how do you market your site twice?
Easy…
Most of us normally promote http://www.yoursite.com. But what you should know is that most sites can be found in search engines by simply entering… http://yoursite.com – no www.
Try it for a second, we go to Google and write your URL with www. and then without the www.
So for me it would be:
http://www.smartads.info
http://smartads.info
The same will apply to subdomains as well. A subdomain is a section of your site dedicated to something you create, but instead of residing within your normal directory, it resides within its own directory, as I’ve illustrated below…
Normal:
http://www.yoursite.com
Subdomain:
And with that again, you can promote your subdomain twice in search engines like this…
[http://www.sub-domain.yoursite.com]
So, in turn, I just showed you how you can promote 4 sites with the same goal in mind, yours of course!
How to use your new found knowledge:
Hopefully, everyone knows how important creating a link exchange program is for your business. Well, what you simply want to do is mix up your links by submitting to other companies for a listing within your site.
In other words…
Let’s say I just found 4 sites that I want to exchange links with, I would do something like this…
Site #1: I would submit (www.yoursite.com)
Site #2: I would submit (http://yoursite.com)
Site #3: I would submit (www.sub-domain.yoursite.com)
Site #4: I would ship ([http://sub-domain.yoursite.com])
I am now promoting my site with 4x more power than before!
But don’t stop there…
Do you write articles? How about sending 2 of your links to each article? Change them with each item.
Ex:
Article #1 (How to Submit Your Site to Search Engines)
try to add
http://www.yoursite.com
Article #2 (How to market your site twice)
try to add
http://yoursite.com
I hope this little tidbit of knowledge gives you the edge you need to put your business ahead of the game!
The best of luck to you!
