These campsites are all tucked away in a pine forest with a quiet creek at the entrance, making them the perfect spot for those who want to spend some time soaking up the peace and tranquility of the mountains while still enjoying all that the local region has to offer. They’re also just a short drive from Lake Welch, which is a great place for fishing and swimming.
Hunting is permitted at Mueller State Park, so if you’re not into learning about duck average lifespans or hearing gunshots, this may not be the best campground for you.
