If you are like many others, who study the history, heritage and past of this nation, and realize, the same issues, repeat themselves, over and over again, often without any quality, workable solutions , and related actions, performed, etc! Why do we keep, watching, public officials, whether they are not ready, willing and / or able to obtain what should be a priority, DONE? Why do politicians so rarely transform themselves into statesmen of quality after being elected, but rather continue to focus on their personal/political agendas and self-interest, rather than the common good? While some issues may be political in nature (or in part), many must be based on common sense and achieving real priorities, in a timely and well-considered manner. With that in mind, this article will briefly try to consider, examine, review and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and why it is important.
one. deepen; to find out; deliver: Don’t we deserve to be guided by experience, from true experts, rather than the rhetoric and empty promises all too often observed? Elected officials must dig deeper, for the common good, and try to discover the difference between facts and perceptions, as well as priorities, rather than self-interest. Voters must consistently demand, officials deliver, nothing less, and must meet the highest standards, based on achieving what needs to be addressed, today, rather than putting it off, until tomorrow!
two. Options; opportunities; open mind; organized; objective; objectives: An objective evaluation and an open mind are needed to recognize and consider various options and alternatives, in order to be prepared to take advantage of the best opportunities! This evaluation must be objective, if it is to address the relevant and sustainable objectives! Great public officials, see the big picture and understand that getting things done in a timely and well considered manner requires an organized and consistent approach and effective planning!
3. Needs; nervous; now: The needs of the nation, the planet, and all of our citizens (not just one’s supporters/followers), must take precedence over political considerations! A great leader has the nerve to take a stand and proceed, now, instead of resorting to procrastination!
Four. Endurance; Excellence; efforts; expertise; empathy; to enrich: It takes the combination of stamina, persistence, and the pursuit of the highest degree of personal excellence to ensure best efforts! We must elect leaders, with real experience and genuine empathy, and who, prioritize, enrich the people, who elected him, to serve and represent the best – interests of the future!
Wake up, America, and demand, public officials, get priorities DONE, achieved and addressed in a timely and well thought out manner! Will you become a more responsible and responsive voter?
